If you need assistance or explanations on some of the points below, these will be explained in detail during the face to face or Skype consultation. Before the ceremony

The ceremony itself

Would you like a private Shamanic ceremony (only the bride and groom) or for it to be witnessed by family and friends?

Do you wish for assistance in writing your shamanic wedding vows?

Would you both like to partake in a private cleansing ritual just prior to the ceremony rehearsal? (This is optional and typically lasts for 30 minutes)

Would some of your wedding guests be warm to the idea of actually participating in some of the rituals and to offer wishes or prayers?

Do you wish for assistance in selecting the music, readings and poetry at the ceremony?

Which of these elements would you like to include in the ceremony –

• 2 circles to represent the both of you coming together.
• A marriage bundle (‘despacho’) which holds all your wishes and/or wishes from family and friends.
• Invocation of your spirit helpers and the elements of earth, air, fire and water.
• The use of candles and incense.
• The stating of your intentions, wishes and vows to each other.
• The stating of spoken wishes from family/friends if appropriate.
• The use of herbs and or aromatherapy oils.

The Despacho: A physical symbol of your love and sacred intentions
