When a person is ill or 'dis-eased', it is the shaman`s belief that the person has lost a soul part or power animal, or may have an unwanted power intrusion.

Soul Retrieval

This is a healing method the shaman performs when there has been evidence of soul loss in a person. Soul loss can happen through trauma, grief, bereavement, and shock and very often the way we speak is evident of this. "I haven't been myself since ... Part of me left the time ... She stole my soul."

Memory loss or depression may also be a clue for the shaman. It is the shaman`s job to search with his spirit helpers for the lost soul part and bring it back to the person. A soul part may be found 'stuck' in another reality or at the place where the trauma happened. The spirits may at this time suggest a ritual to welcome the soul part back or suggest further shamanic work or alternative appropriate help.

The person works with the shaman to become well and whole again and is encouraged by the shaman to take responsibility for his physical and mental well being.

Rahame Ceremony-Healing and Embracing the True Feminine

The seat of a woman`s personal power and femininity is her womb.

Many women are not in touch with their true feminine and so find themselves experiencing difficulties in the workplace, home and in relationships.

These situations can lead to a feeling of dis-empowerment, and if repeated continually without being addressed and healed, can even cause physical dis-ease in the body.

Problems like irregular menstrual cycle, pain, weight gain, hormone imbalance, a sense of worthlessness, feelings of not being valued , weariness and powerlessness in some areas of their lives are all symptoms I have been privy to in one to one sessions with women.

For some women the major operation of hysterectomy has brought huge feelings of loss on physical, mental and emotional levels that they were not prepared for.

One woman described it this way " I feel that there is a big black hole- empty- where my womb was".

In recent years I have healed the feminine in myself and embraced my goddess energy. Through this healing I saw how I behaved and experienced life was not serving me positively and more importantly I learned how to be in my feminine power in a positive way.

My spirit teachers gifted me with the Rahame ritual and ceremony for women of all ages.

Drawing on this feminine energy allows me to perform Rahame ceremonial and ritual healing work with women who are scarred through mental, physical, sexual, emotional or spiritual abuse.

It is a very beautiful and powerful shamanic healing skill that has benefited every woman who has experienced it.

The shaman sees this as misplaced energy or power loss in a person. Working closely with his spirit helpers the shaman can extract this disease and replace it with retrieved power and healing. Illness cannot intrude when a person is empowered and in harmony.

Working with death and dying is one of the roles the indigenous shaman embraces as part of his circle of life. He helps people prepare for this transition and may also be called upon to assist with the safe journey of the soul across to the spirit world. The shaman can also assist lost souls or souls that are still 'stuck' in our reality through causes of unnatural death or attachment to persons still living.

Anyone that visits for healing and/or counselling will receive a complimentary shamanic flower remedy created by Triona, if appropriate. Furthermore, general homeopathic advice can be provided if requested.
